Dr Desh Bandhu Gupta, Chairman
|

An honorary Doctor of science (D.Sc.) with a master’s degree in chemistry, Dr. Gupta, in his early career was an Associate Professor at Birla Institute of Science and Technology, Pilani, Rajasthan. Since 1968, when he founded the company, Dr Gupta has steered Lupin towards the forefront of India pharmaceuticals.

Dr Kamal K Sharma, Managing Director
|

|
Kamal K Sharma is a graduate in chemical engineering from the Indian institute of Technology
(IIT), Kanpur, with a post-graduate diploma in industrial management from Jamnalal
Bajaj Institute of management Studies,
Mumbai, and a Ph.D in economics from
IIT, Mumbai. He has also completed an advanced management program from Harvard Business School,
Boston.

corporate development and general
management in the pharmaceuticals
and chemicals industries.

A graduate in arts, Ms. Gupta is one of the promoters
of the company with a wide business experience.

P. K. Kaul
|
|
|
A graduate in science, Master of Arts in economics, with a Master Degree in Public Administrator (Harvard University, US), P K Kaul served in the Indian Administrative Services until this retirement in July 1989. He held various senior positions such as Secretary - Textile,
Commerce,Defence and Finance.

He was also Cabinet Secretary and India's ambassador
to the US.

|

commerce, Certified Associated and Fellow of the Indian Institute
of Bankers, D K Contractor has served
Central Bank of India in various capacities and retired as its Executive Director. Apart from banking, Mr. Contractor
brings a vast experience of more than four decades in finance and
administration.

|

A management educationist and consultant, D P Sinha is President and Managing Director of Consortium for Strategic management and Organisation Development. He is a founder of Association of Management Development Institution in South Asia and a former principal of The Administrative Staff College,
Hyderabad.

He also served as a member of the task force of the Planning Commission and advisory board on program.

|

A Ph.D.in Economics from University of Bombay, with a Certificate in Financial Management from JBIMS, K U Mada is an eminent economist and development banker. He has served in key positions with IDBI as its Executive Director for over three years.

He was Chairman/Member of a number of committees constituted by IDBI and other financial institutions and the Government of
India.

of Mumbai and MBA from J L Kellog Graduate School of Management, Vinita Gupta Sharma heads the advanced market business of the company. She has been instrumental in Lupin's foray in the advanced markets
of the US and Europe and in cementing alliances with global majors.

Sunil Nair is Managing Director and Partner of CVC International, Citigroup’s private equity arm that invests in the emerging markets. He has worked several years in private equity investing, financial structuring, and strategic consulting in emerging and developed markets.
