In FY 2008-09, Lupin also set up state-of-the-art cGCP and cGLP facilities for its Bio-Availability and Bio-Equivalence (BA/BE) clinical studies. The Lupin BioResearch Centre (LBC) became fully operational in January 2009. Located in Pashan, Pune, the facility is spread across 23,500 square feet. It houses an integrated GCP BA/BE Clinic with a Clinical Pathology lab, as well as a GLP Bioanalytical lab with 5 state-of-the-art LC/MS-MS instruments. This in-house capability was built to conduct BE studies for the Company's Generic products, as well as relative BA studies for ADDS-based new products under development at Lupin Research Park. |
